Clay’s childhood was a funky one, as most bass players can attest. A few excerpts from his autobiography penned by Nora Roberts, “Childhood was hard…bass battle after bass battle…I would have to slap and pop my way to the top…it’s hard growing up and being so damn funky…” Clay “Baby” Davis enjoys the fast food selections at Taco Breezy. He prefers off-brand Fruity Pebbles, “You really get a sense of umami when you eat stale cereal,” he quips. Clay is an aficionado of the cinema. He enjoys the acting of Leonardo DiCaprio because, “He is a badass.” When Clay is not getting funky in The Regulars Band he is doing all he can to prevent eco-terrorists like The Whale Wars captain and Al Gore from harming free enterprise. Clay sips Santana Champ because it is so crisp. Clay thinks people who wear sweater vests will miss the next evolutionary advance. |
