HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PLAYING: 10 years
WHAT MADE YOU PICK UP MUSIC (SPECIFICALLY): Watching this guy James play at the church I grew up in. I fell in love with the guitar and got one the very next Christmas. I remember playing this praise song "be glorified" James taught me for a straight week to work on strum patterns and to build up calluses.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF BEING IN A BAND: I get to jam and hang out with people on the same wavelength musically. Everyone in the band pushes me to become better!
WHAT’S THE CRAZIEST THING THAT’S HAPPENED IN THE BAND THUS FAR: It all started New Years Eve of 2011. We were about three songs in, and Lindsey runs off the stage to puke. She spent the rest of the night in my car with the heat on full blast. The rest of us were left to entertain hundreds of drunken and disgruntled old folks. After playing for 4 hours and after many, many solos all around we try to ring in the new year with some champagne and a breakfast bar. We thought we had mad it through, until an old drunken lady bitched Lee out demanding we keep playing. We packed up and headed home at 2am and at the first stop for gas we are encountered by an odd individual who probably had ties to some of the finest crystal meth this nation has known. We floored it to the next gas station, filled up and never looked back.
